The Inditex Safe to Wear (STW) Standard sets product safety requirements for finished garments and textile articles sold under the Inditex Group brands. It defines the maximum permissible levels of chemical substances in finished products — ensuring they are safe for consumers of all ages, including children — and complements the manufacturing-focused Clear to Wear (CTW) and RTM Standards.

The STW Standard draws on international product safety benchmarks including OEKO-TEX Standard 100, EU REACH requirements, and applicable consumer product safety regulations across Inditex’s key markets. It is part of Inditex’s broader commitment to responsible chemistry, aligned with the ZDHC Roadmap to Zero programme.
